Process at The Retail Collective

Right from the briefing meeting we will be thinking about design, cost, manufacturing and delivery for your items. Our designers may have been sketching while they have been in the direct discussions with you, we ensure they are able to concept sketch so they can relay their thoughts at the early stage.

We also look for the most cost effective manufacturing senario, this may be location based on delivery or it could be driven by the quantity of the units. all of this without comprimising on quality.

Finally, shipping and installation can be costly. For shipping we look at all the possibilities, Air, Sea or Overland. For installation we look at local and global for this best installation solution, while always providing a Project Manager for supervision and client liaison.

Our basic process which can be tailored to the client

Sales

Our sales team all have the necessary knowledge to advise you whether your requirement is for POP/POS displays, Retail Furniture or a Government Contract. They normally start the process with a client call or visit to take the initial brief. From this the design team can start their magic.

Design & Development

Out talented Design and Development team are ready for any challenge. The first stage is concept sketching to allow the client to see the various directions their requirements can take, these sketches can be presented to initiate conversation and achieve decisions on the final design. From the concept sketches a full design visual can be created along with a techincal specification which budget costs will be sort. These will be presented to the client to gain confirmation of direction and a potential order.

Development & Manufacture

From the point of an order we will develop the requirements into manufacturing drawings, of which the GA will be signed off by you the client. During Manufacture all aspects will be quality controlled until the units are fully finished and ready for dispatch.

Delivery & Installation

We will provide tracking of all our shipments if it's available. We will also supervise all of our installations regardless of where in the world they are, using our local or global teams.

We can provide just design service, or a combination of services right through to the whole package. We have a full team of people who are experienced enough to make sure your project is a success.

The process is a simple or as complicated as the client wants it, we can work within your own matrix or we can develop one exclusively for you.

Every stage of your order is quality controlled, from the structure to the desired finish. We can provide reports at various stages to ensure you are fully aware of the progress of your order during manufacture.

Your delivery will be tracked (if available) even if it's on the sea, and we will keep you informed. Our installation teams are fully briefed on the project prior to coming to site and will adhere to all the site requirements including any additional H&S internal requirements.
